Orsay House, Islay B&B
After moving to Islay and 'Living the Dream'
Gary & Alison are now enjoying a well earned retirement and unfortunately Orsay House will no longer operate as a B&B

Eating and Drinking
Our local pub, An Tigh Seinnse, just three doors down serves a range of freshly made local food including locally caught crabs and lobsters, as well as local ales and spirits. As the pub is very small, we do recommend booking if you want to eat here.
There are some very good alternatives in Port Charlotte, Bridgend, Bowmore and Port Ellen.
Getting around Islay
A regular bus service serving both Port Ellen and Port Askaig as well as Bowmore stops just a few steps from Orsay House. This enables you to visit 6 of the islands distilleries without driving, but please note that the bus service does not operate on Sundays. If you are driving and visiting distilleries please ask for a 'Drivers Dram'. These are available from all distilleries and will help you keep the right side of Scotlands drink /drive laws
