Whether it's Whisky, Walking, Wildlife, Whacking balls around (Golf) or just relaxing, Islay is bound to please. From our selection of nine world famous whisky distilleries (very soon to be 10 with 3  more in various stages of construction), three gin distilleries (one is on Jura), a rum distillery to  a Micro Brewery. From our amazing wildlife otters, seals, dolphins, eagles, chough, elusive corncrake, migrating geese and the occasional basking sharks and whales. A choice of walks suitable for most levels of fitness. Festivals including the world famous Feis Ile, to classical, jazz, food, books and walking festivals. A championship golf course with a  first class restaurant overlooking the 18th. There is always something to occupy you on Islay. Or, you could just sit back, relax and watch the world, and the Atlantic Ocean, go by.
